Why are gloomy, drizzly days so perfect? There is something comforting about seeing the world in grey. It makes me believe it is perfectly normal to wear fuzzy socks and stare out windows and listen to the Goo Goo Dolls and do hours of mindless soul searching and read a novel all at the same time. Okay, enough of being emo, but you can't blame me for loving calm in the midst of calamity.
I think God is telling me that I have fallen too far into the depths of this world. My life is pretty monotonous, wonderful.. but monotonous. The predictability of every week is killing my brain cells. I think a good day of adventure would be beneficial to my mental health. As much as I love school and my routine-- I need to see the world from different angles, ya know? Any suggestions?
Do you guys have any particular thing that never ceases to melt you heart? For most people it is puppies or babies or something adorable and cuddly but for me, it is kind of different. For me, it truly warms my heart to see football players help up other football players not on their team. I believe pretty strongly in the idea of serving others in ways big and small, and to me, this is such a wonderful way to serve God! It takes a true man to help an opposing team mate. I-love-it.
Be good to yourself!
